The creativAfrica festival is a multidisciplinary and participatory project by Renken dedicated to African creativity and cultures in Turin. It embodies the values of anti-racism and interculturalism, understood as the celebration of diversity and the promotion of dialogue and encounter. Since 2015, it has centred on various artistic fields – including music, cuisine, literature, theater, design and activism – through workshops, live concerts, hands-on sessions, DJ sets and talks, featuring international guests, Africans and people of African descent.
